Raymond “Ben” Allen, MD, DABFP

 

Dr. Allen is a native of west Texas and completed his training in Family Practice and Emergency Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School and the University of North Texas. He has over 20 years of experience in a wide variety of settings and locations. Dr. Allen is certified in Aerospace Medicine, Diving Medicine and is a recognized authority on Wilderness Search and Rescue. He has held faculty appointments in emergency medicine and wilderness/environmental medicine at a number of universities in Canada and the United States. He currently practices Urgent Care and Sports Medicine at Piedmont Walk-In Clinic in West Lethbridge.

 Dr. Allen is an avid skier and mountaineer. He and his family divide their time between their homes in Monarch, AB and Fernie, BC.
