I come from an itty bitty town in Northern Manitoba called Snow Lake. Although I wear my Manitoba badge pretty darn proud (the co-ordinates are actually tattooed on my ribs in case I get lost) I've been happy to call Lethbridge home for 3 years now.

I love hockey, rollerblading, running, skiing, going to the movies and quoting them till no end and of course nap time. I was raised on the likes of CCR, Neil Young and the Rolling Stones, but have an absolute love for all music. My obsessions include the Edmonton Oilers, Bruce Springsteen, Moustaches and the Post Office.

Nickname: Jo Jax from my friends and Porky from my Dad. Don't feel bad, I was a chubby baby.

Best Day in Radio: Hmmm...there are so many! Probably a toss up between meeting Ricky, Bubbles and Julian from Trailer Park Boys, a free trip to Mexico or seeing my giant head on a bus for the first time!

Why did you get into radio? I LOVE music ... everything about it and all types. My Dad raised me well with a great background of artists and knowledge about them. As you might have already figured out I also LOVE to talk, so why not do it for a living? I instantly fell in love the day I turned the mic on.

Best Interview: Evander Kane - forward for the Winnipeg Jets. I interviewed him after he won the gold medal with team Canada at the World Juniors and was still playing with the WHL Vancouver Giants. Although it felt like he was 2 feet taller than me and a pretty intimidating hockey player, the interview was flawless. He sounded awesome, gave me great answers when I fired what felt like a million questions at him. If I only knew now that he would be lacing them up for my home land Winnipeg Jets, I probably would have snapped a pic...or cut a lock of hair.

Favorite Concert and Why? This one is tough. I would like to say Neil Young because I dreamed of seeing him since I was about 6 years old, but I have to say Tom Petty was the best. I went with my Dad. Since my Dad totally shaped my love of music today, it was pretty cool to sit there and chill with him singing along to every single song he played that night. Fantastic show!

Something only my Mom knows: I'm a sock stealer. I always seem to only lose one sock from a pair and completely wear them out. When I do, I will pretty much snag any sock in sight in your house. Sorry in advance.
