She and her local rink playing to a 5-4 victory on Sunday over Switzerland skip Silvana Tirinzoni in the women's final at the Meridian Canadian Open in North Battleford Saskatchewan. Scheidegger's rink earning $30,000 for the victory. A steal in the eighth end of the final draw proving to be the difference. The win caps an impressive debut in the Grand Slam of Curling for Team Scheidegger which also includes third Cary-Anne McTaggart, second Jessie Scheidegger and lead Stephanie Enright.
