Three goals in the third period lifted the Kamloops Blazers to a 5-2 victory over the struggling Lethbridge Hurricanes Saturday night.
So far a road trip to BC hasn't been able to get the Lethbridge Hurricanes out a long slump. The Kamloops Blazers scored three times in the third period to break a 2-2 tie as they went on to beat the struggling Hurricanes 5-2 Saturday night. Tanner Nagel and Jordy Bellerive scored the two goals for the Canes in this game. The shots favoured the Blazers 30-27. Kamloops came into the game ranked last in the WHL's Western Conference and the Hurricanes in second last spot in the Eastern Conference. The loss was the 8th in a row for the Canes as they now head to the coast to try and put an end to the losing skid. The Hurricanes next action is Tuesday (Nov. 21) in Victoria against the Royals.Victoria is the top-ranked team in the West. - Pat Siedlecki
