The Lethbridge Hurricanes have officially clinched a Western Hockey League playoff spot despite a 3-1 loss to the Moose Jaw Warriors Wednesday. The Canes fell behind 3-0 and couldn't claw their way back. It's only the team's second regulation time loss since early January. The Hurricanes sit with a record of 36-17-4-3 on the season with exactly a dozen games to go in the 2016-2017 WHL regular season. The Canes sit one point back of the Warriors and six points behind Medicine Hat in the Eastern Conference standings. The Hurricanes look to rebound on Friday (Feb. 24) when they host the Brandon Wheat Kings. Game time from the ENMAX Centre is 7:00 pm MST. - Pat Siedlecki
