Hurricanes Quiet at WHL Trade Deadline

Canes\' make minor deal at the trade deadline on Monday.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes were quiet at the WHL's trade deadline Monday. The Canes' made a minor deal swapping non-roster players with Portland.  The Canes' sent Ryley Bennefield to Portland in exchange for 95-born defenceman Branden Sheidl. Head Coach and G.M. Rich Preston says he's content with the team he's got going forward into the final few months of the regular season. Preston told local media the Hurricanes are in the playoff hunt right now and he wasn't prepared to trade away any of his top players.  He noted there's always things you want to do to try and make your team better, but sometimes things don't work out.
