Hurricanes Lose 3-2 to Broncos in Overtime

A power play goal in overtime lead the Broncos to a 3-2 win over the Hurricanes Wednesday night in Swift Current. Mitch Maxwell and Neil Tarnasky scored for the Hurricanes in a losing cause.  Lethbridge took a five minute checking-from-behind penalty late in the game which proved to be the difference.  The Canes record falls to 11-11-2-3 on the season after 27 games.  The Broncos went 2/7 on the power play while the Canes went 0/7.  Brandon Anderson played a solid game in goal as the Canes were out shot 39-25.  The Hurricanes next action is Saturday night (Dec. 4) when they host the Prince Albert Raiders.  Game time is 7:00 pm (MST).  The pre-game show on CJOC at 6:30.
