Edmonton Holds on to Beat Hurricanes 3-2

Two goals in the first period helped the Edmonton Oil Kings to a 3-2 victory over the Hurricanes Monday night at Rexall Place. The Canes' started off fine in this game, but Edmonton really took control after the first five minutes.  The Hurricanes goals were scored by Austin Fyten  and Cam Braes while Brandon Anderson was busy in goal as the Hurricanes were out shot 36-18.  Lethbridge has just two wins in it's passed 14 games.  The Hurricanes next action is Wednesday (Dec. 29) when they play host to Edmonton for the second time in three nights.  Game time is 7:00pm (MST).  The pre-game show on CJOC at 6:30.
