Three first period goals were the difference as the Prince George Cougars beat the Hurricanes 7-2 Friday night at the ENMAX Centre.  The Canes' out shot P.G. 33-28, but a few missed opportunities and going 0 for 6 on the power play proved costly.  Cam Braes and Jacob Berglund scored for Lethbridge in a losing cause.  The Canes' have one win in their past 8 game and still remain two points out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. For P.G., it's their first win in Lethbridge since 2004.  The Hurricanes next action is Saturday (Feb. 12) when they play host to the Red Deer Rebels. Game time is 7:00 pm (MST).  The pre-game show on CJOC at 6:30.
