Canes Slip Past Calgary Hitmen 5-4; Earn Third Straight Victory

A pair of goals from Egor Zudilov helped the Lethbridge Hurricanes to a 5-4 victory Friday over Calgary at the ENMAX Centre.

Ryan Vandervlis broke a 4-4 tie with less than seven minutes to play in the third period as the Lethbridge Hurricanes got by the Calgary Hitmen 5-4 Friday night at the ENMAX Centre. Egor Zudilov scored a pair of goals for the Hurricanes in this game, while Jordy Bellerive and Calen Addison added the others. The victory was the third straight for Lethbridge on what continues to be a long home stand. The Canes out shot the Hitmen 37-34 on the night. Lethbridge failed to score on the power play though going 0/6 with the man advantage. Calgary finished the game 2/4. The Hurricanes next action is back at home Sunday (Cot. 29) when the welcome the visiting Seattle Thunderbirds. It'll be the Canes final game of October.
