'Canes Force Game 6 With 5-3 Win Over Red Deer

The Lethbridge Hurricanes beat Red Deer 5-3 on home ice Saturday to force a game 6 in Red Deer.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes have forced a game 6 in their opening round playoff series against Red Deer following a 5-3 win on home ice on Saturday night.  Zak Zborosky netted the game winner early in the third period, with the 'Canes also getting goals from Alec Baer, Zane Franklin, Matt Alfaro and Giorgio Estephan.  With their game 5 victory Lethbridge now trails Red Deer three games to two in their best of seven series.  Game 6 goes Sunday in Red Deer. If necessary a seventh and deciding game will take place back in Lethbridge at the Enmax Centre on Tuesday. -Tom Roulston
