Canes' Beat Calgary Hitmen 5-4 in Overtime

Mitch Maxwell scored overtime winner as Hurricanes beat the Hitmen 5-4 in overtime.

Alex Kuvaev scored two goals as the Lethbridge Hurricanes beat the Calgary Hitmen 5-4 in overtime Wednesday night at the ENMAX Centre.  The Hurricanes got the game winner from Mitch Maxwell on a power play in O-T, while Mark Reners and Graham Hood scored the others. The Canes' have now won four games in a row and move to within three points of the 3rd place Kootenay ICE in the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 10-6-0-3 on the season.  The Hurricanes next action is Friday (Nov 12) when they travel to Brandon to take on the Wheat Kings.  Game time is 6:30 pm (MST).  The pre-game show on CJOC at 6:00.
