Two teenage girls are facing charges in connection with a couple of vandalism sprees in the city.

Two teenage girls are facing charges in connection with a couple of vandalism sprees in the city.  Early on August 16th, a number of vehicles in the Uplands subdivision on the North side were vandalized with orange paint.  Less than a week later, a handful of vehicles on the North side were marked with green paint.  In total,  37 vehicles were damaged and in most cases consisted of vulgar language and crude drawings.  18 year old Katheryn Lynn Matheson has been charged with two counts of mischief under $5000.00.  A 17 year old girl, who can’t be named is facing the same charges.  Both have court appearances at the end of September.
