A quick adjournment for a 43 year old Colorado man accused of trying to smuggle weapons across the Coutts Border Crossing. Bjorn Patrik Sjostrom did not appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court Monday, but his lawyer had the case adjourned to October 25th. The Colorado man is facing 49 weapons related charges. They stem from a search of a fifth-wheel trailer back on August first. Canadaian Border Services Officers discovered 11 prohibited firearms including a weapon with armour piercing bullets known as a "cop killer."  Sjostrom has been working up in Fort McMurray.
