Two People Facing Drug Charges after Search of Downtown Lethbridge Apartment Unit

Lethbridge Police have charged two people with methamphetamine trafficking and possession of stolen property.

Lethbridge Police have charged two people with methamphetamine trafficking and possession of stolen property. Drugs, drug paraphernalia, cash and a significant amount of stolen property were seized Thursday when officers searched an apartment at Galt Manor on 7th street south. Police also recovered several hundred BMX bike parts along with five bikes that had been altered or were in the process of being altered. A number of weapons were also seized including five swords, a machete, two hatchets, five knives and three throwing knives. There were seven adults inside the apartment at the time of the search as well as two children under the age of four. 34 year old Clement Nolan Black Rabbit and 27 year old Chantelle Joyce Pantherbone are facing charges in connection to the bust. Both suspects are in custody and waiting for a Judicial Interim Release hearing. -Tina Giesbrecht
