Standoff Man Charged in Serious Crash Near Coalhurst

A 19 year old Standoff man has been charged following a serious crash earlier this week.

A 19 year old Standoff man has been charged following a serious crash earlier this week.  RCMP from Lethbridge, Picture Butte, Fort Macleod, and Raymond all responded to the crash on September 7th just before 7pm west of Coalhurst on Highway Three.  A car hit a pick-up truck causing both vehicles to go into the ditch.  The truck rolled several times before coming to a stop.  Four people were injured and one had to be airlifted to hospital in Calgary.  Jacob Medicine Crane was charged by the Mounties on Friday.  He faces three counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.  He's been released from custody and will appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court November 29th.
