A 21 year old man has been sentenced to four years in prison for his part in a drug-related robbery. Aaron Rideout pleaded guility to a charge of extortion with a firearm in Lethbridge Provincial Court Thursday. Back in June, Rideout and several other men entered the residence of a known drug dealer on the city's northside. The two parties got into an argument about a drug debt and during the violent disagreement, Rideout pulled a gun and fired a shot into the floor.  He received the minimum sentence of four years, because he has no previous criminal record and was co-operative with the authorities.
