Lethbridge Regional Police are turning to you to help crack a counterfeiting case.
Lethbridge Regional Police are turning to you to help crack a counterfeiting case. Since late July, LRPS has received a number of reports of counterfeit $20.00 American bills. Police believe several people are responsible for trying to spend the counterfeit American currency -- and the suspects may even be from the Lethbridge area. Members of the Economic Crimes Unit continue to investigate and now have surveillance footage of two subjects involved in the passing of several of the bills at city businesses. Some of the fake money has even made it's way into a few local banks. Police are seeking the public's help to identify the suspects.
