Lethbridge Man Charged With Fraud After Incidents With Stolen Credit Cards in Taber

35 year old Mason Oliver Cranston of Lethbridge has been charged after debit and credit cards from a stolen wallet were used at a number of businesses in Taber.

Taber Police laying charges after debit and credit cards from a stolen wallet were used at a number of businesses in that community. Officers say the wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 6300 block of 63rd avenue sometime Monday (Dec. 18) night. The suspect racked up purchases and withdrawals totalling over $1700 in the following days. 35 year old Mason Oliver Cranston of Lethbridge has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of the proceeds of crime, fraud and unlawful use of a credit card. He's set to appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court for a bail hearing. - Tina Giesbrecht
