A former Lethbridge Alderman has decided it's time to run again for City Council. Liz Iwaskiw was on council between 2004 and 2007 and says she understands how the whole system works. Iwaskiw says an honest and open city government is what she wants to see. She says it's not just simply being transparent, but it changing the way City Council does business to be more open to the public. Iwaskiw feels ready to give City Council another try and she hopes her past experience as an Alderman makes her a better candidate. She decided not to run in 2007 after her husband passed away a year or so before. Iwaskiw says she feels energized and ready to give it another shot.
