Fire crews were busy battling a blaze in Pincher Creek early Friday morning (Nov. 17) At around 1:30 am, Pincher Creek Emergency Services was called out to fight a house fire near Highway 6 and Canon Street. Fire Chief David Cox tells our radio station there was extensive damage to the home, however there were no injuries and everyone got out safely. He says right now the cause of the fire is under investigation, but it's possible it may started as the result of a wood burning appliance in the home. Foul play has been ruled out. - Pat Siedlecki
