Coaldale RCMP reminding motorists that it's against the law to pass a school bus when it's red lights are flashing. Mounties say they've gotten seven complaints this school year already and are following up with charges. Three incidents have occurred within the Town of Coaldale and four happened on rural roads. Coaldale RCMP Staff Sergeant Glenn Henry, says the safety of children riding buses is paramount, adding there is zero tolerance for putting them at risk. The fine for passing a school bus when it's red lights are flashing is $543. Many school buses are also equipped with cameras now to record vehicles that pass illegally. -Tina Giesbrecht
