Annual Reminder from Alberta Health Services to Spread Joy, Not Germs this Holiday Season

Alberta Health Services is once again reminding residents to "spread joy, not germs" this holiday season.

Alberta Health Services is once again reminding residents to "spread joy, not germs" this holiday season. With more than 1,100 cases of influenza in the province reported by the end of November, AHS says the best way to protect yourself and others is to get the flu shot. Over 958,000 doses have been administered so far and AHS says that's a "good start." Other ways to help prevent the spread of illness is to wash your hands regularly; sneeze or cough into your arm, not into your hands; refrain from preparing food for anyone while you're sick and to stay home when you're under the weather. -Tina Giesbrecht
