The Hurricanes couldn’t hold on to a 2-0 lead, losing in Moose Jaw in overtime Saturday.
The Lethbridge Hurricanes let a 2-0 third period lead slip away, dropping a 3-2 OT decision in Moose Jaw Saturday afternoon.
The first two periods were scoreless in this game, until a pair of goals from Taylor Ross and Kelti Jeri-Leon put the visitors ahead. However, The Warriors stormed back with a pair of their own to tie even the game at 2-2.
The game winner was scored just over a minute into overtime to give Moose Jaw a 3-2 victory. The Warriors held a 36-27 edge in shots on goal.
The loss drops the Canes overall record to 11-8-3-2 on the year.
Lethbridge is back home Friday (Nov. 30) when they host Swift Current.
