Five goals in the third period highlighted a wild game Sunday between the Hurricanes and Red Deer Rebels.
It was a big night Sunday for Taylor Ross.
He scored a hatrick and added one assist as the Hurricanes came back to beat the visiting Red Deer Rebels 5-4 in overtime at the ENMAX Centre. The Canes had a 2-0 lead, before the Rebels came storming back to take the lead mid-way through the third period.
The last few minutes of the third were wild with the teams scoring three quick goals, ultimately resulting in the game heading into OT. In the extra frame, Nolan Jones notched the game winner for Lethbridge. The Canes other goal on the night was scored by Dylan Cozens. Lethbridge out shot Red Deer 41-32.
The Hurricanes have now won five games in a row, including three wins in three nights this past weekend.
