Red Hot Lethbridge Hurricanes Continue Rolling Towards WHL Playoffs

The Canes have won six games in a row following road victories in Regina, Brandon, Prince Albert, and Saskatoon.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are rolling with just two weeks to go in the WHL's regular season. The Canes have won six games in a row following road victories in Regina, Brandon, Prince Albert, and Saskatoon. The  Canes sit with a record 42-17-4-3 for 91 points on the season. That puts them two points back of rival Medicine Hat for first place in the Central Division. The Canes and Tigers will meet up March 17 and 18 for a home-and-home set which could very well decide which team wins the Division. Lethbridge has only one loss in its last ten games. The Hurricanes play three games in four nights this week, starting at home Wednesday (Mar. 8) when they host Edmonton. The Canes will play in Calgary Friday (Mar. 10)  and back home Saturday (Mar. 11) to play the Hitmen again. - Pat Siedlecki
