Red Hot Hurricanes Beat Wheat Kings 5-3 in Brandon

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are red hot after winning 5-3 in Brandon Friday night.

BRANDON, MB. - The Lethbridge erased a 2-0 deficit and came back to beat the Brandon Wheat Kings 5-3 Friday night. Jay Merkley, Russ Maxwell , Jamal Watson, and Craig Leverton scored for the Hurricanes in this game.  The Canes found themselves down 2-0 after the first period before rattling off four straight to win it. Brandon out shot the Canes 38-33. Lethbridge had now won 4 games in a row and improve to 12-7-1-1 on the season. The Hurricanes will play the second game of this road trip Saturday (Nov. 10) when they take on the Pats in Regina.  Game time is 6:00 pm (MST). The pre-game show on CJOC at 6:00. - Pat Siedlecki
