New Lethbridge Hockey Team to Play in Ranchland Hockey League

The Senior Men's "AA" Lethbridge Lightning will begin play this fall.

Lethbridge has a new hockey team. The Senior Men's Double "A" Lethbridge Lightning will start play this fall in the Ranchland Hockey League. The Lightning's President Rob Zintel says Lethbridge is a perfect fit for a team like this. He says we have a great population here in Lethbridge and there are many great hockey players around the city who might want to be part of this team. The Lightning will hold tryouts next weekend, September 22, 23, 24 at the ATB Centre for men 18 years of age and older. The team will play 20 games this coming season, starting October 27th. The Ranchland Hockey League currently has five teams with the addition of the Lightning. Other team include the Nanton Palominos, Fort Macleod Mustangs, Kainai Braves, and Piikani Regulators.
