It seems as if there's no stopping the Cane Train these days. The Lethbridge Hurricanes scored four power play goals as they hammered the Rebels 7-3 Wednesday night up in Red Deer. The Canes have now won 8 games in a row and the win extends their league-leading point streak to 14 straight. Lethbridge out shot the Rebels 40-28 in this game. The victory improves their overall record to 32-15-4-3 and it also pulls the Canes to within six points of division-leading Medicine Hat with one game in hand on the Tigers as well. The Hurricanes now get set for three games in three nights, starting at home Friday (Feb. 10)  when they host Prince Albert. - Pat Siedlecki
