Hurricanes Start 2017 WHL Pre-Season With Back-to-Back Losses

An 0-2 start to the 2017 WHL pre-season for the Lethbridge Hurricanes after a pair of losses against the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are winless so far in the Western Hockey League's 2017 exhibition season. The Canes dropping a 4-2 decision to the Medicine Hat Tigers Friday at Nicholas Sheran Arena and the following night on Saturday, the Tigers beat the Hurricanes 5-3 in a game that was played in Taber. Lethbridge has a pair of pre-season game coming up this weekend. On Friday (Sept. 8) the Hurricanes host the Broncos at the ENMAX Centre and then Sunday (Sept. 10) the two teams will play again, this time in Swift Current. The Hurricanes will close out their 2017 exhibition schedule on September 15th in the Crowsnest Pass again the Kootenay ICE. - Pat Siedlecki
