The Lethbridge Hurricanes put the breaks to a six game losing streak Saturday at home with a convincing 6-1 win over the visiting Red Deer Rebels. Giorgio Estephan scored twice while Brayden Burke, Tanner Nagel, Tyler Wong, and Jordy Bellerive added the others. The Canes out shot the Rebels 28-27. The victory improved the Canes overall record to 6-7-1-1 on the season. The victory Saturday followed a 2-1 loss to the WHL-leading Prince George Cougars on Friday. The Hurricanes now hit the road to kick off the month of November with games in Kamloops, Victoria, and Vancouver. - Pat Siedlecki
