The Lethbridge Hurricanes battled back from a 2-0 deficit Saturday to even up their second round playoff series in Medicine Hat.
Giorgio Estephan notched a hatrick as the Lethbridge Hurricanes came back from an early deficit to beat the Tigers 7-4 Saturday night in Game Two of their second round WHL playoff series. The Hurricanes were in tough shape early, down 2-0 less than five minutes into the game. However, they battled back as the game went on. Alec Baer, Dylan Cozens, Tyler Wong, and Tanner Nagel scored the other goals for the Canes. The victory evens the series at 1-1. Medicine Hat outshot Lethbridge 30-26 on the night. Both teams were 1/5 on the power play. It was a vastly different looking Hurricanes team from Game One. The series now switches to Lethbridge for Games 3 and 4 Tuesday and Wednesday (Apr. 11 & 13). Game 5 will be back in Medicine Hat on Good Friday. - Pat Siedlecki
