The Lethbridge Hurricanes improved their record to 12-8-3-2 Friday with a home ice win over the Broncos.
Justin Hall scores his first-ever WHL goal and it was a big one as the Lethbridge Hurricanes beat the visitng Swift Current Brocnos 3-1 Friday night.
Hall’s goal was also the teddy bear toss goal in the second period. Over 4500 stuffed animals and toques were collected, which will now be distributed to several different charities across southern Alberta.
Zachary Cox and Jake Elmer scored the other two Lethbridge goals. The Canes out shot the Broncos 42-26 on the night.
The victory improves the Hurricanes overall record to 12-8-3-2 on the season, five games back of the Central Divison-leading Red Deer Rebels
Their next action is Saturday (Dec. 1) when they travel to Medicine Hat to take on the rival Tigers.
