Hurricanes Cut Roster Down For Opening Night

The Lethbridge Hurricanes have trimmed their roster to 25 players.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes have trimmed their roster to 25 players. The hockey club re-assigned Mitch Guiel, Taylor Balog, Tanner Kovacs, and Adam Henry on Tuesday.  Also Cam Braes, Brandon Anderson, and Brody Sutter are back from NHL camps.  The Hurricanes also have a few injuries heading into the new season.  (F) Mark Reners is our 1-2 weeks with a knee injury, (D) Brandyn Hulit is out one week with head injury, (F) Brody Sutter is sidelined one week with a shoulder problem, and (D) Reid Jackson is day-to-day with a hip injury.  The Hurricanes open the WHL season Friday night in Calgary.  Game time 7pm (MDT).
