Wednesday, January 25th 2012 21:18

The Hurricanes came from behind to beat the Kootenay ICE 5-4 at the ENMAX Centre Wednesday night.

Two power play goals in the third period lifted the Lethbridge Hurricanes to a 5-4 comeback win over the Kootenay ICE Wednesday night at the ENMAX Centre. Jamal Watson, Craig Leverton, Jaimen Yakubowski, Brody Sutter, and Phil Tot scored for the Hurricanes in this game. Liam Liston started his second straight game in goal for Lethbridge and recorded the victory. The final shots were even a 27-27. It was also the first time this season the Hurricanes have won a game when trailing after two periods. The Hurricanes next action is Friday (Jan. 27) when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers.  The Canes will wear a special jersey that night to honour the old Lethbridge Sugar Kings. Game time is 7:00 pm (MST).  The pre-game show on CJOC at 6:30.
