Hurricanes Beat Warriors 4-1 in Moose Jaw

Jay Merkley scored twice as the Hurricanes beat the Warriors 4-1 Monday afternoon.

MOOSE JAW, SK. - The Lethbridge Hurricanes found their way back in the win column with a 4-1 road victory in Moose Jaw Monday afternoon.  Jay Merkley scored a pair of goals while Brady Ramsay and Dan Johnston added the other for the Hurricanes who move into a second place tie with Prince Albert in the Eastern Conference with the win. Moose Jaw out shot Lethbridge 35-23. The Canes improve to 13-8-1-1 on the season.  The Lethbridge Hurricanes return home for their next 3 games starting with the Prince Alberta Raiders who pay a visit to the ENMAX Centre Friday night (Nov. 16).  Game time is 7:00 pm MST.  The Preghame show on CJOC at 6:30. - Pat Siedlecki
