More volunteers are needed to assist with the operation of the Alberta Summer Games that will be held in Lethbridge.

Organizers for the Alberta Summer Games that will be held in Lethbridge continue to recruit volunteers to help host the event. Games Chairman George Virtue provided City Council with a progress report Monday on the planning. He says 900 volunteers are still needed. Virtue says says they are a bit worried they have that monay volunteer spots to fill, but he's confident the community will step up. He says from past experience, a lot of the volunteers come in the last few weeks prior to a big event. Virtue says the easiest way to volunteer is through the games website, www.2012albertasummergames.ca. The event goes from July 26th to 29th.
