'Canes Pick Up Back-to-Back Wins

The Lethbridge Hurricanes returning to their winning ways over the weekend with home ice victories over Edmonton and Red Deer.

You can make it back-to-back wins for the Lethbridge Hurricanes following two games over the weekend.  On Friday the 'Canes ended a two game slide with a 7-4 win on home ice against Edmonton.  Forward Egor Babenko netting two goals in the contest, and the 'Canes powerplay also proving effective going three for four on the night.  Lethbridge would follow up their Friday effort with a 3-1 win over Red Deer on Saturday.  Team Captain Tyler Wong leading the offence with a two goal night that included the winner.  This week the 'Canes are in Edmonton on Wednesday before returning home on Friday to host Prince George.  Lethbridge currently sits second in the WHL's Central Division with 49 points. - Tom Roulston
