Canes' Lose 4-3 in Shootout in Saskatoon

The Saskatoon Blades erased a two goal deficit to beat the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-3 in a shootout Friday night.

The Saskatoon Blades erased a two goal deficit to beat the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-3 in a shootout Friday night.  The Canes' had a 3-1 lead until the Blades came storming back to win it.  Mitch Maxwell, Mark Reners, and Mike Reddington scored for Lethbridge in a losing cause.  The Blades out shot the Hurricanes 37-27 in what was a very entertaining, face-paced, and fun game to watch.  The Canes' record now sits at 4-4-0-3.  For Saskatoon, it was their 6th straight win at home. The Hurricanes will close out their three game Saskatchewan road trip Saturday (Oct 23) when they take on the Raiders in Prince Albert.  Game time is 7:00pm (MDT).  The pre-game show on CJOC at 6:30.
