Canes' Beat Tigers 3-1 in Medicine Hat

Two quick goals 13 seconds apart in the second period helped the Hurricanes to a 3-1 win in Medicine Hat Saturday night.

Two quick goals 13 seconds apart in the second period helped the Hurricanes to a 3-1 win in Medicine Hat Saturday night.  The Tigers came out gunning at the start of the game, but goals from Austin Fyten, Jacob Berglund, and Mitch Maxwell silenced the large crowd in the Hat.  Dylan Tait had an outstanding game in goal for Lethbridge.  He had a busy night stopping 37 of 38 shots for the win.  The Canes' are now 2-0 to start the new WHL season.  The Hurricanes will hit the road for a trip to the U.S. taking them to Seattle, Everett, and Portland.  Game time from Seattle Friday (Oct. 1) is 8:30pm (MDT).
