'Canes Beat Oil Kings 7-4 in Edmonton

The Lethbridge Hurricanes earning their third straight win on Wednesday by picking up a 7-4 win in Edmonton.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes earning their third straight win on Wednesday night by picking up a 7-4 win in Edmonton against the Oil Kings.  Lethbridge got ahead quick in the contest scoring four unanswered goals in the first period.  'Canes forward Jordy Bellerive scoring two goals in the contest with the team also receiving goal contributions from newly acquired forwards Alec Baer and Zak Zborosky.  The 'Canes were out shot 43 to 36 in the contest, but were one for four on the powerplay.  Lethbridge returns home on Friday to host Prince George. - Tom Roulston
