Canes' Anderson Inks NHL Deal With Caps

Lethbridge Hurricanes goaltender Brandon Anderson has inked an entry level NHL deal with the Washington Capitals.

Lethbridge Hurricanes goaltender Brandon Anderson has inked an entry level NHL deal with the Washington Capitals.  The 18 year old signed the contract the other day and is now back in Lethbridge to get ready for the WHL season.  Anderson was an undrafted player before going to Washington's camp.  He posted a record of 12-19-1-1 in his first full season with the Hurricanes last year.  He also had a .892 save percentage and 3.49 G.A.A.  Anderson is expected to play goal when the Hurricanes open the new WHL season Friday night in Calgary.
