Broncos Blank Hurricanes 6-0 in Swift Current

The Lethbridge Hurricanes dropped their 6th game in a row Saturday after being shut out 6-0 by the red hot Broncos in Swift Current.

Not how the Lethbridge Hurricanes were hoping to start off a seven game road trip. The Swift Current Broncos scored three times in the opening period and cruised to a 6-0 shut out victory over the Canes Saturday night, handing the visitors their 6th consecutive loss. Lethbridge out shot the Broncos handily, 36-24, however just couldn't find a way to light the red lamp in this game. The loss drops the Hurricanes overall record to 7-10-1 on the season. The Hurricanes road swing now takes them west to B.C. The Canes next action is Friday (Nov. 17) in Kelowna when they take on the Rockets. Lethbridge will also play games in Kamloops, Victoria, Vancouver, and Kootenay before their next action back at the ENMAX Centre on November 28th. - Pat Siedlecki
