Tragedy in Magrath: Four Teens Die in Car Crash
Two 16 year old boys and two 14 year old girls died in an early morning crash near Magrath.
Four local teenagers have been killed after a single vehicle rollover near Magrath. R.C.M.P say it happened early Sunday morning east of Magrath on Township Road 55a. A vehicle was heading west when it flipped over and ended up partially submerged in Pothole Creek. Two 16 year old boys and two 14 year old girls were found dead at the scene. No names are being released at the request of the family. Mounties say alcohol was not a factor, but it's believed that speed and driver inexperience played a part in the crash. R.C.M.P. from Magrath, Cardston, Milk River, and Lethbridge were all called out just before 6:00 am Sunday.
