Lethbridge Man Sentenced to Seven Years for Attempted Gun Smuggling

A Lethbridge man will spend seven years and three months in an American prison for trying to smuggle guns into Canada.
A Lethbridge man will spend seven years and three months in prison for trying to smuggle guns into Canada. 29 year old Harley Clifford Combres was sentenced in Billings, Montana Wednesday. He and a co-accused 23 year old Caley Dawn Sinclair, also of Lethbridge, were arrested last March after attending a gun show in Billings. The pair admitted to trying to smuggle firearms from Montana into Alberta for resale. After his sentence is served, Combres will be deported back to Canada. Sinclair meanwhile, was sentenced in October to time served of 202 days. -with files from The Billings Gazette
