Lethbridge Man Sentenced For Forging Cheques

49 year old Dennis Wickham pleaded guilty in a Lethbridge court Monday to charges of forgery.

The former President of the Lethbridge Minor Softball Association has received a four month sentence after pleading guilty to forgery.  49 year old Dennis Wayne Wickham entered the plea in Provincial Court Monday and will serve the sentence in the community under a curfew. While he was President of the Softball Association Wickham forged the names of two other members of the executive on a couple checks totalling $998. He was convicted last fall after taking four thousand dollars from the Southern Alberta Football Officials Association and is currently serving a sentence of sixmonths under house arrest for that.
