Alderman Jeff Carlson Running for Liberal Nomination
Pointing to a need for change in government at the provincial level, a well known member of the community has decided to seek the Liberal nomination in Lethbridge East.
A member of City Council has decided to seek the nomination for the Alberta Liberal Party in Lethbridge East. Alderman Jeff Carlson announced his plans Wednesday and says the PC government has been in power too long. He says policies have been set in back rooms by people who've been there for 40 years and that needs to change. Carlson says Albertans need a new voice up in Edmonton. He says he looks forward to keeping this Lethbridge East seat for the Liberals. The Executive Director of the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Origanization, Rob Miyashiro has also announced his plan to seek the Liberal nomination in Lethbridge East. The nomination meeting is set for February 15th.
