Woman Accused of Beating Grandfather in Taber Back in Jail

28 year old Stacey Carlson was originally released on bail last month. However, court was told Thursday that she allegedly violated her release conditions and her bail was revoked.

A woman who's accused of beating up her grandfather in Taber is back in jail, but that may not be for long.

28 year old Stacey Carlson was originally released on bail last month. However, court was told Thursday (Sept. 13) that she allegedly violated her release conditions and her bail was subsequently revoked.

But Judge Jerry LeGrandeur then launched into a bail hearing immediately after that to determine if she can be released from jail once again. Noting that he needs some time to consider all factors of the alleged breach he adjourned his decision on the second bail hearing until September 18th.

Carlson and a co-accused, 22 year old Henrick Froese, are charged with robbery, break and enter, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
