A two-month investigation by Fort Macleod RCMP has led to a list of charges against a town resident.

A two-month investigation by Fort Macleod RCMP has led to a list of charges against a town resident.  Mounties had been investigating numerous break-ins to businesses in Fort Macleod in which thousands of dollars were stolen and thousands of dollars in damage was done. Forensic ID units from Lethbridge and Calgary assisted in the investigation which resulted in charges against 29 year old Matthew Farney. He was arrested Sunday morning and charged with eleven counts of break, enter and theft and six counts of mischief. Farney is set to appear in Fort Macelod Provincial Court on Wednesday.
