Two Charged with Beating, Robbing Taber Man Expected to Schedule Trial Next Month

Two people accused of beating up an elderly man in Taber are expected to set their trial dates next month.
 
Stacey Carlson, 28, and Heinrich Froese, 22, were charged in July with robbery, break and enter, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
 
Taber Police allege that they broke into the 87-year old victim's home, attacked him and took cash.
 
Both have pleaded not guilty and elected for trial by judge alone in provincial court.
 
Carlson and Froese are currently out on bail. They will be back in court in Taber on December 11 to set trial dates.
